The NIH’s National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) Division of Training, Workforce Development and Diversity (TWD) is offering a series of webinars. Sponsored program directors, other interested faculty, and institutional staff are invited to participate in this series. The first session focuses on program evaluation.
From the organizer: “The goal of the Evaluation Workshop is to bring together the training, workforce development, and diversity community to discuss ways to advance assessment and evaluation efforts in an efficient, evidence-based, collective and coordinated manner. For this session we are partnering with Dr. Christine Pfund and the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) Coordination Center team. The agenda includes presentations on using common measures and the pilot Evaluation Interventions Measures Library, and lightning talks on outcomes of evaluation supplements. There will also be time for small group discussions about barriers and needs for successful evaluation and assessment.”
