The National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) supports students in various STEM fields, including social sciences and STEM education. The fellowship provides 3-years of support during a 5-year fellowship period. For each of the 3 years of support, NSF provides a $37,000 stipend and $16,000 cost of education allowance to the graduate degree-granting institution of higher education.
UNCG’s Graduate School and the Office of Research and Engagement will host two virtual workshops to help interested students prepare for the application process. All seniors at UNCG who are applying to graduate school as well as first year graduate students who are US citizens or permanent residents are invited. There will be two options:
