UNCG will host the 2023 Region 5 NC Science and Engineering Fair on Feb 11, 2023. Event organizers are seeking Judges to serve in person the day of the fair. The Fair’s success depends on the encouragement we provide our students as they begin to identify as scientists. You make a difference! Judges must have:
- A minimum of four year college degree, experience in the discipline and/or advanced degree preferred.
- Willingness to give back to the community via encouraging young scientists to become future leaders in the STEM careers.
To register as a Judge, please go to the STEM Wizard website (https://ncsefreg5.stemwizard.com/public_site/home/ncsefreg5). Look under the top Registration menu to access the Judge registration form. If this is your first year, you will need to register and create a Judge profile. If you’ve judged in the past, you will login using the same email and passcode as before. Please complete or update any information that is needed.
Please plan to arrive around 8 am for a light breakfast and training at 8:30 am. The judging starts at 9:15 am promptly. Lunch will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions on the Judge Registration.
