The UNCG Department of English in collaboration with UNCG E-sports and the Network for the Cultural Study of Videogaming will host the first annual UNCG Game Studies Conference on Saturday, April 5 in the Moran Commons E-Sports Arena from 9 AM – 6 PM. The theme of the conference is “Liminality in Gaming,” and Dr. Bo Ruberg is the keynote speaker. Registration is required. Undergraduate students attend free; faculty pay a registration fee of $20, and graduate students and independent scholars pay $10. Registration is open now through 11:59 PM on April 3.
