Care and Custody is a traveling exhibition that explores the history of mental health in the United States.
It examines the connections between asylums and incarceration and the ways people worked to create a more inclusive society.
Dr. Anne Parsons of the UNCG Department of History curated the exhibit, which was produced by the NIH’s National Library of Medicine.
Visit the exhibit in UNCG’s Nursing and Instructional Building (NIB) First Floor Atrium between October 23 – November 3.
