Dean’s Award for the Promotion of Diversity & Inclusiveness

The Dean’s Award for the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusiveness is presented annually to an individual, a group of individuals, or an academic department or program exemplifying a commitment to the cause of enhancing diversity in CAS.

Diversity Mini-Grants

The College of Arts and Sciences’ Diversity Committee invites proposals to fund initiatives that would help advance issues of diversity in departments/programs and/or the college. Appropriate projects could be in the form of a workshop, lecture, exhibit talk, or other creative or educational enterprise. As stated on the Diversity Initiatives webpage: “In a broad sense, diversity includes differences in ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, [and] national origin,…”

CASCONNECTS Mentorship Program

CASConnects is an initiative of the College of Arts & Sciences’ (CAS) Diversity Committee to support a sense of belonging and mentorship for graduate students from diverse backgrounds, broadly defined.
