DEAN’S AWARD FOR THE PROMOTION OF DIVERSITY & INCLUSIVENESS
The Dean’s Award for the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusiveness is presented annually to an individual, a group of individuals, or an academic department or program exemplifying a commitment to the cause of enhancing diversity in CAS.
The College of Arts and Sciences’ Diversity Committee invites proposals to fund initiatives that would help advance issues of diversity in departments/programs and/or the college. Appropriate projects could be in the form of a workshop, lecture, exhibit talk, or other creative or educational enterprise. CASConnects is an initiative of the College of Arts & Sciences’ (CAS) Diversity Committee to support a sense of belonging and mentorship for graduate students from diverse backgrounds, broadly defined.
