The Spring 2022 Internal Funding Award Program (formerly Faculty First) managed by the UNCG Office of Research and Engagement opened on December 15, 2021. The deadline for receipt of proposals is February 4, 2022, at 5:00 pm. Spring 2022 Internal Funding Awards are offered to full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty, clinical faculty, research faculty, and academic professional faculty – any rank. The Spring 2022 Internal Funding Awards funding period is April 2022 – September 2023.
Faculty may apply for up to $5,000 for individual, or $10,000 for collaborative projects submitted by two or more UNCG faculty.
To begin the submission process applicants MUST decide upon which one of four subcommittees they want to review their proposal:
