The Chinese Studies program in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (LLC) has announced its lineup of events in celebration of the Chinese Spring Festival.

Events will take place from February 12 – 25 and include:

Chinese Cooking Contest and Showcase, February 12 – 16

UNCG students and employees, as well as Salem Academy students, will demonstrate their Chinese cooking skills and showcase their best dishes.

Tai Chi Workshop, Thursday, February 18, 6 – 7 p.m.

Join Bonnie Chunmeng Wang and Violet Anderson for professional Tai Chi performances and guided exercises.

Chinese Paper Arts Workshop, February 25, 6 – 7 p.m.

Learn about the history and culture of Chinese lanterns and traditional Chinese paper cutting while participating in interactive crafting activities.
