Dean’s Award for the Promotion of Diversity & Inclusiveness
The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) recognizes the importance of diversity among students, staff, and faculty and strives to promote an inclusive environment. Diversity fosters excellence, innovation in research, intellectual growth, and both personal and professional development. To bring recognition to diversity and inclusiveness, we are accepting nominations or self-nominations for an award that recognizes efforts by faculty and staff in the College.
The Dean’s Award for the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusiveness is presented annually to an individual, group of individuals, or department/program in the College of Arts & Sciences who have worked together on an initiative, or an academic department or program exemplifying a commitment to the cause of enhancing diversity in CAS.
The purpose of this award is to highlight best practices and to honor the individual(s) or department / program responsible for creating or enhancing an inclusive environment for education.
