We live in a world filled with multimodal data — text, images, videos, signals, graphs, and more. Multimodal AI offers a promising way to integrate these heterogeneous data sources, enabling more holistic and personalized clinical decision support. This talk will introduce the common multimodal learning approaches, highlight key challenges and conclude with future directions toward reliable, transparent, and privacy-preserving clinical applications.
