From UNCG’s Office of Research Integrity: The National Science Foundation has updated their proposal and award policies and procedures. For NSF proposals submitted on or after July 31, 2023, all faculty and other senior personnel must complete Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training before funding can be awarded. The requirement still remains that post-doctoral students, graduate students and undergraduate students complete RCR training before conducting NSF research.

To meet these requirements, UNCG has CITI RCR training. Training instructions can be found here. Funding will not be released to PIs for NSF funded projects until all members have completed RCR training.

If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

The Responsible Conduct of Research Training Schedule for spring is being updated. Current information about offered sessions and registration information can be found here: https://integrity.uncg.edu/rcr-training-resources/

Also, the IRB will be offering monthly Introduction to the IRB Application Q&A Sessions. These will be held the first Tuesday of each month in MHRA 2711 from 2-3pm.
