February 27, 11 AM – POST AWARD GRANT ADMINISTRATION (Level II) – An in-depth discussion of grants management topics, specifically around cost compliance and budget management. This is for grants managers who need the opportunity to discuss and discover best practices to manage budget and maintain compliance. Hosted by the office of Contracts & Grants Administration (CGA). February 28, 11 AM – RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH – MAINTAINING SCIENTIFIC INTEGRITY IN DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION – Led by Dr. Nadja Cech (Chemistry and Biochemistry). Hosted by Office of Research Integrity. RSVP

March 6, 11 AM – POST AWARD ADMINISTRATION – ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION – This session will help you understand: proposed effort in budget and budget justification, how to capture information during the award in order to process personnel actions, what information should be included on personnel actions and why, and reporting on actual effort post award. March 18, 1 PM – POST AWARD GRANT MANAGEMENT – CONTRACTS VS GRANTS – This training is designed to focus on the differences surrounding contract management vs grant management. Hosted by CGA. RSVP

March 19, 10 AM – BANNER FINANCE – CONTRACT & GRANT ACCOUNTING – This training covers Banner Finance content related to Contracts & Grants. Great for PIs and department admins. This workshop will introduce you to the new Banner grant forms containing the details of the Contract and Grant awards in your organization. You will learn to query and view the awards to find the project and budget dates and other key info. You will also learn to view the grant expenses and budget availability in both Banner INB and the UNCG Budget Query available in UNC-Genie (Self-service). Note that you must have a Banner account and Banner Finance Access to take this class. Learn more & RSVP
