CAS Book Club: “Evicted” (Part III)
April 24 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The College of Arts and Sciences Belonging, Opportunity, and Wellbeing Committee is pleased to host its first CAS Book Club in spring 2026.
Over two afternoons (Friday, March 27 and Friday, April 24, both from 3-5pm in Foust 206), we will be discussing Matthew Desmond’s “Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City.”
These events are open to all faculty, staff, and students, and will feature facilitated discussion and guest speakers. If you need a copy of the book, you can read Evicted as an ebook through UNCG libraries.
We ask that you RSVP for these events so that we can get an accurate count of attendees for space and refreshments (coffee and pastries).
Event schedule:
Friday, March 27, 3-5pm, Foust 206: Evicted, Parts I–II
Friday, April 24, 3-5pm, Foust 206: Evicted, Part III
