Dr. Jasmine DeJesus (Psychology) received new funding from the Regents of the University of Michigan for the project “The Development of Eating Behavior in Infancy: Associations with Behavior, Diet, and Growth to Age 6 years.”

Dr. DeJesus will be responsible for consulting on the study design, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of the proposed data collection. DeJesus will be especially involved in aspects of the research protocol related to the protocol she designed for the parent grant (an observational study of mothers feeding their infants familiar and unfamiliar foods at 6, 9, and 12 months). Specifically, she will participate in conference calls about developing study protocols and will give feedback on manual drafts and any issues that arise during coding based on her expertise in designing the original protocol. DeJesus will also participate in disseminating the findings by giving feedback on conference presentations and manuscripts for publication.
