Dr. John Z. Kiss, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, has been asked to serve on the advisory board for the NC Space Grant Consortium. This group consortium of academic institutions promotes space-related science, engineering and technology education and training in North Carolina.
As this consortium opens opportunities to all state universities, UNCG’s students will have access to more scholarships and research funding. A group of UNCG students will attend the 2019 SPACE Symposium at NCSU on April 5.
