DESCRIPTION:DREAM Camp is a summer day camp designed for children and adolescents with social skills and friendship challenges\, including but not limited to those with high functioning autism. \n\n\n\nCamp is designed for children and adolescents aged 8 to 18. The main focus of the camp is to enhance social and friendship skills. In addition\, adolescents will receive developmentally appropriate life skills training.   \n\n\n\nCampers will also participate in enjoyable activities\, including arts and crafts\, musical performances\, and sports! \n\n\n\nDates: \n\n\n\n\nWeek 1: June 17-21\n\n\n\nWeek 2: July 8-12\n\n\n\n\nSchedule:  \n\n\n\n9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day. Drop-off is at 8:45 a.m.  \n\n\n\nCost: \n\n\n\n$400 per week. Partial financial assistance is available. DESCRIPTION:UNC Greensboro’s DREAM Camp is a day camp that helps youth ages 8 – 18 develop social\, communication\, and friendship development skills. \nThe camp is open to (but not limited to) children and adolescents with high-functioning autism. \nDREAM Camp is run by therapeutic professionals in UNCG’s Psychology Clinic. \nDates:\nWeek 1: June 26 – 30\nWeek 2: July 24-28\n9 a.m. – 3 p.m. \nLocation:\nThe Middle College at UNCG\n1510 Walker Ave\nGreensboro\, NC 27412 \nDrop-off: Drop-off at 8:45 a.m. at the surface lot 9N across the street from the 1510 Walker Ave Building. \nSkills:\n• Social and communication skills training\n• Emotion understanding and coping\n• Independent living skills \nCost: $350 per week. Partial financial assistance available.
