DESCRIPTION:Join us in the EUC Kirkland Room for a multilingual festival featuring: \n\n\n\n\nmini language lessons (“Learn Japanese in 10 Minutes\,” “Spanglish and Identity\,” etc.)\n\n\n\npoetry readings in original languages with translation\n\n\n\nstudent performances\n\n\n\nfaculty lightning talks (research)\n\n\n\ninternational music and dance\n\n\n\nbooths representing linguistic/cultural traditions\n\n\n\ncollaborations with local immigrant communities\n\n\n\nPassport to the World (interactive language stations): Participants receive a mock “passport” and visit stations representing different languages/cultures.\n\nEach station offers phrases\, games\, calligraphy\, idioms\, proverbs\, and cultural artifacts
