SUMMARY:UNCG DREAM Camp
DESCRIPTION:UNC Greensboro’s DREAM Camp is a day camp that helps youth ages 8 – 18 develop social\, communication\, and friendship development skills. \nThe camp is open to (but not limited to) children and adolescents with high-functioning autism. \nDREAM Camp is run by therapeutic professionals in UNCG’s Psychology Clinic. \nDates:\nWeek 1: June 26 – 30\nWeek 2: July 24-28\n9 a.m. – 3 p.m. \nLocation:\nThe Middle College at UNCG\n1510 Walker Ave\nGreensboro\, NC 27412 \nDrop-off: Drop-off at 8:45 a.m. at the surface lot 9N across the street from the 1510 Walker Ave Building. \nSkills:\n• Social and communication skills training\n• Emotion understanding and coping\n• Independent living skills \nCost: $350 per week. Partial financial assistance available.
