SUMMARY:Burnout\, Vitality\, and the Agile Approach: Managing Mental Health and Workload
DESCRIPTION:Seminar/Discussion open to all Faculty/Staff/Graduate Students! For many faculty and graduate students\, overwhelming workload and number of responsibilities can have a negative impact on mental health and general well-being. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop/discussion\, we’ll talk about two ends of the workplace well-being spectrum – burnout and vitality – and discuss how strategic approaches known as Agile in software development can be applied to help support workload management and mental health. For further information\, check out the link below. \n\n\n\nThis workshop will be held in 201 Sullivan Science Building.

SUMMARY:From Prehistory to Precision: Using the Neanderthal Oral Microbiome to Develop Oral Microbiome Transplantation
DESCRIPTION:This event is part of UNCG’s Biology department seminars. \n\n\n\nDid you know that over 90% of Americans will develop dental decay in their lifetime\, and over 80% of American adults will suffer from periodontal disease? \n\n\n\nPresented by Dr. Laura Weyrich of Penn State\, this seminar will cover information on how evolutionary relationships between oral microorganisms and health shape the way we understand\, prevent\, and treat modern oral diseases. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss out! Join us in the Sullivan Science Building Room 201. Hosted By Dr. Gwen Robbins Schug.
