SUMMARY:Destiny Hemphill Visiting Faculty Poetry Reading
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to welcome Destiny Hemphill to UNCG’s English Department as the 2025-2026 Visiting Assistant Professor in Poetry.  \n\n\n\nHemphill will give a special poetry reading\, including work from her latest collection\, “motherworld: a devotional for the alter-life.” She is a recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts\, Tin House\, and the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop\, among others.  \n\n\n\nThe event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a reception. \n\n\n\nLocation: Moore Humanities and Research Administration (MHRA) Building (Room TBA)
